We have moved to Spokane for Mikal to sell pest control for Pointe Pest Control for the summer. We are excited for a change in our life. Dean has adjusted well, but it is still weird for me to not have any responsibility to work. (except QuickBooks which is not a priority since we just do taxes for them) I am anxious to start that up soon as I have not really done anything, but pack and try to finish up the payroll which was very stressful.
Dean has been having good days most of the time, but will have a couple hours of fussiness a day though. He has been really clingy to Mom right now and Mikal gets sad when Dean does not want him.
Last night he only woke up 1 time to eat! I was soo happy. I slept pretty well! We have AC and so that helps not have issues during the night with heat. He has been sleeping most of the day today. He usually struggles to sleep. He must be growing.
We went to the Riverfront park last night and had fun exploring the park. We went to my favorite childhood wagon and we even went down the slide together!
He is starting to giggle. This video shows he is trying!
Dean started to wear 6 month clothing. He is getting pretty heavy to carry. Even in the carrier. He is a pretty plump little dude!
Has the cutest pouty lip when he is sad!

June 9th we visited our friends that moved to Hayden, Idaho. John & Marissa Garling. We went hiking off of Lake Coeur d'alene. (Tubbs hike) It was so fun to do something with them! We hiked all the way out to the lake and Dean decided to blow out the side of his diaper. He was sitting on my knee and he pooped so much is left a pile on the ground that dripped off my leg. We changed him, and his whole outfit and then he pooped again and blew out again! I had to borrow a diaper from my friend because I only had one extra diaper in the diaper bag. Mom fail.
Dean and I walked along the walking path a lot during June. He wanted to go out in the heat, but would get mad a lot because it was too hot and I was also sweaty from carrying him. I searched everywhere for a hat and my only find was this fisherman bucket 4th of July hat that seemed a little too big. He grew into so fast by 5 months he couldn't fit it anymore.
Mikal spent the week in Lewiston with the Pointe boys selling, so I packed up our bags and headed back to my parents for the week. We had fun hanging out with the cousin and relaxing. It was cold this week and I was able to put him in long sleeves on the first day of Summer! All the clothes that people bought him for fall, are all going to be too small for him. He is growing so big!
We took LOTS of walks in Spokane. I didn't get out much (since we didn't have money yet) but we had fun exploring what was in walking distance of our apartment.
He also has figured out how to stick his tongue out for raspberry noises. He can do it a little bit!
Dean started off the month of October sleeping a lot better than the month of September. Instead of 2-3 hour stretches, we got 4-5! He has now started acknowledging his name when you say it. Mikal bought Dean a cute little red ball cap. It is so cute on him! I also got to put him in his little hunting outfits. I love me some red buffalo plaid! We met my cousin Carmen and her family at the Middleton Fall Festival. It was fun to take Wesley and enjoy so time outside of the house! Dean played in the corn pit and had a blast feeling the corn and picking it up- we also went again later in the month with Joseph, Melissa, Oliver & Jane. I spent lots of time making/picking grapes to juice. Dean was very impatient at times and other times very patient with me! Dean went on a couple tractor rides in the sprayer with Dad. He loved it so much it put him to sleep. Mikal also went fishing a bunch and hunting as well. He ended up shooting a small buck. Dean is starting to...
March 24th - Sunday night at 8 pm we headed into Madison Memorial Hospital to start the induction. I was still only dilated a fingertip. They put a small cervidil in me to soften my cervix. It was not comfortable and I was given half an ambien to help with the pain and sleep, but I was not able to sleep at all that night. I tossed and turned all night long and had to get up and go to the bathroom every hour. March 25th- Around 6 am, Monday March 25th, they got me a piece of toast and that was all I could eat until after the baby was born. They took out the cervidil and started me on Pitocin and broke my water. I was exhausted. I was still in pain, but not as bad after getting that cervidil out. Around 10:00 am, they came in a checked me and I was dilated 1 cm. They told me that he probably would not be born until Tuesday, March 26th. My heart dropped. I did not want to wait that long to have this little boy. They asked me if I wanted the epidural and I said not yet. I took the p...
This past couple weeks have been some crazy ones to take in. I have been working on tons of projects in the garage and building a lot for others. Here are a couple of my latest: Thanksgiving week was just around the corner, as was my birthday. On Tuesday we went out to eat at Red Robin so I could get my free burger like I get every year. That is all we did. Nothing special. I did get a phone call from my sister Kira calling to keep little Everett who is 5 months in our prayers. He was have some unusual bruising on his left eye. They had gone to a specialist and was told if it got worse to head to the hospital. On Thanksgiving day, we went out to Mikal's parents house and had a big dinner. I brought some little penguins because I really like to have one of my little traditions brought to the table. The day after Thanksgiving, we went out with the Terry family and Josh and Hailey's family as well to get a Christmas tree. We drove up Kelly Canyon a...
