We have moved to Spokane for Mikal to sell pest control for Pointe Pest Control for the summer. We are excited for a change in our life. Dean has adjusted well, but it is still weird for me to not have any responsibility to work. (except QuickBooks which is not a priority since we just do taxes for them) I am anxious to start that up soon as I have not really done anything, but pack and try to finish up the payroll which was very stressful.
Dean has been having good days most of the time, but will have a couple hours of fussiness a day though. He has been really clingy to Mom right now and Mikal gets sad when Dean does not want him.
Last night he only woke up 1 time to eat! I was soo happy. I slept pretty well! We have AC and so that helps not have issues during the night with heat. He has been sleeping most of the day today. He usually struggles to sleep. He must be growing.
We went to the Riverfront park last night and had fun exploring the park. We went to my favorite childhood wagon and we even went down the slide together!
He is starting to giggle. This video shows he is trying!
Dean started to wear 6 month clothing. He is getting pretty heavy to carry. Even in the carrier. He is a pretty plump little dude!
Has the cutest pouty lip when he is sad!

June 9th we visited our friends that moved to Hayden, Idaho. John & Marissa Garling. We went hiking off of Lake Coeur d'alene. (Tubbs hike) It was so fun to do something with them! We hiked all the way out to the lake and Dean decided to blow out the side of his diaper. He was sitting on my knee and he pooped so much is left a pile on the ground that dripped off my leg. We changed him, and his whole outfit and then he pooped again and blew out again! I had to borrow a diaper from my friend because I only had one extra diaper in the diaper bag. Mom fail.
Dean and I walked along the walking path a lot during June. He wanted to go out in the heat, but would get mad a lot because it was too hot and I was also sweaty from carrying him. I searched everywhere for a hat and my only find was this fisherman bucket 4th of July hat that seemed a little too big. He grew into so fast by 5 months he couldn't fit it anymore.
Mikal spent the week in Lewiston with the Pointe boys selling, so I packed up our bags and headed back to my parents for the week. We had fun hanging out with the cousin and relaxing. It was cold this week and I was able to put him in long sleeves on the first day of Summer! All the clothes that people bought him for fall, are all going to be too small for him. He is growing so big!
We took LOTS of walks in Spokane. I didn't get out much (since we didn't have money yet) but we had fun exploring what was in walking distance of our apartment.
He also has figured out how to stick his tongue out for raspberry noises. He can do it a little bit!
The first day of December, we were able to do something very special. We signed up to create an ornament to place on the tree at the hospital for families who have lost a child or had a miscarriage. It was a very sweet thing and both Mikal and I got emotional. It was so nice that someone takes the time every year to put on something so special for those during this time of the year. We went home and then we decorated our fresh cut Christmas tree to lighten the mood. Dean was so happy to put up the decorations! This year my mom decided to not put up her Christmas lights, so I met Carter in Moses Lake and picked up the lights. That next week, I put them up! It was fun to be festive this year and Dean looked forward to the Christmas lights turning on every night and driving around looking at them. Christmas is a magical time of year for him and it’s so great to see him get so excited! We took a drive up to Chelan to find some snow. We got look for animals and see some beautifu...
June 23th-- June has been one of the biggest months in our life. LOTS of changes are about to occur in the Terry family! We have decided that we are going to do In Vitro Fertilization! The beginning of May, we knew it was time to start something new. We called a fertility doctor in Logan (that our friend referred us to) and he asked us when we wanted to start the procedure and we told him as soon as possible. He said he was just finishing up a group of people and his next group would be doing the procedure the beginning of July. So that following week I started one of the many medications to get my body prepped for the procedure. My box of injections that was shipped to me. What I had to take daily for injections The doctor we have been working with is such a personable doctor. He checks in regularly, sends me texts, and makes sure I know exactly what is going on with my body. It is amazing that by giving your body medication, you can prepare it to carry a baby. ...
In Idaho, you can NEVER predict the weather. One day you will be wearing shorts and dying of heat and the next day it can snow. Ha! Summer was a quick one here and ended very abruptly, but lucky for me, this is my favorite time of year. Especially in Idaho. The colors, harvest time, canning season, the scents in the air just make me so happy! It also makes Mikal happy as well because that means it is that time to go up to the mountains to go HUNTING and down to the river to go FISHING! Mikal finished his archery class last week and now is dying to go get a bow to hunt. We took a drive up to the mountains on Friday and visited his uncles at their hunting camp. It was pretty muddy driving up there and there ended up being a bit of snow as well. It was so beautiful! I have also been working on sewing projects and started looking at more fall craft ideas. I have tons of wood projects I want to build, but we have been so busy with activities and outing that we have not been abl...
