Month 6- halfway

My baby will be 6 months this month! I cannot believe it. We took a short trip up to visit Kira and Everett. Everett loves Dean and coos at him every time he sees him. Its just he cutest thing. We visited the Aquarium and Pikes Market. Dean liked looking at all the animals!  While we were there, Kira gave Dean this little stuffed moose that her boys did not like. On the way back home, Dean was fussing, so we gave him the moose and he ended up falling asleep with one of the legs in his mouth. Silly boy! We took a long boat ride up to see the white bluffs. I have never been up there and thought that Dean would like to be out on the boat. He has started sucking on his toes as well. Apple harvest has begun and we got to take some fun pictures with Dean on the apple bins. Another milestone! September 16--He can roll from his back to his tummy! By the end of September, he was able to roll from back to tummy really well.  He has also started reaching to go to people. He will reach ...

The Gibbons Family reunion was at Hood Park on the Snake River again this year. I was able to go and camp out there with my mom for a couple days. Dean got to try his first chunks of watermelon and loved it! He also has found that otter pops are a great thing too! He can sit up pretty good now and will hold himself up with his hands. He loves to grab things and stick them in his mouth. My mom had this toy chicken in her toy drawer and that is one thing that Dean LOVES to play with! He is in size 4 diapers and only 4 1/2 months old!  Swinging in the big kid swing on the swing set has been another fun thing for Dean. He just has the best smiles and giggles every time he comes back to you. We go on daily walks in the late afternoon and Dean HAS to have his hand on the tray out in front of the jogger or rides like a cholo. He does not like to sit back and relax. Dean loves Sage. He loves to pet her and laughs every time he touches her or when she licks him. It is such a cute littl...

Lawn mower rides was one of my favorite things growing up. We were given some noise cancelling headphones for Dean from our old bishop in Rexburg (Brad and Kerri Bailey) Dean enjoyed a few rounds on the lawn mower with Granny getting things ready for the Garrett family reunion! Mikal took Dean on a little ride down the driveway on the Harley. Dean never has a reaction to anything-- haha Family reunion time! We got to meet everyone in the family this month. We were so busy playing on the first of July, that Dean slept through the whole night! I had to wake him up to feed him and empty out my milk supply, buutttt it was a trick. He never slept through the night the rest of July. We enjoyed much of our days outside during the family reunion. We went to the Basin City Parade and Dean fell asleep watching it. We did our own little firework show at the house, but I was not able to watch it very long because Dean was tired and needed to go to bed. Austin and Rick brought their repel...
