Birth of Baby Dean

March 24th - Sunday night at 8 pm we headed into Madison Memorial Hospital to start the induction. I was still only dilated a fingertip. They put a small cervidil in me to soften my cervix. It was not comfortable and I was given half an ambien to help with the pain and sleep, but I was not able to sleep at all that night. I tossed and turned all night long and had to get up and go to the bathroom every hour. March 25th- Around 6 am, Monday March 25th, they got me a piece of toast and that was all I could eat until after the baby was born. They took out the cervidil and started me on Pitocin and broke my water. I was exhausted. I was still in pain, but not as bad after getting that cervidil out. Around 10:00 am, they came in a checked me and I was dilated 1 cm. They told me that he probably would not be born until Tuesday, March 26th. My heart dropped. Growing a little one

After we found out that I was pregnant with one little baby. We were overjoyed! We couldn't believe that it could actually happen! I felt pretty good up to 6 weeks when I had my first ultrasound with the fertility doctor to make sure everything was in good standing before he sent me on my merry way to the OB-GYN. This pictures below was taken on August 10th, 2018. When we were at the 6 week appointment, the doctor told me that I did not have to take the shots in the butt anymore, but could change to the pill 3 times a day. I was relieved, but also nervous that would forget to take the hormone pills. The doctor told me that I would have to take them till about 12 weeks. After I switched, I started to feel a little more nauseous than usual and nothing sounded good to eat. I had little mini cravings every once and a while, but nothing that I had to have all the time. I would cook dinner and then by the time I finish cooking, I couldn't eat what I made. Meat was a hard one. I ...
