When snow falls

Snow has begun to fall a lot more in Rexburg now! ☃ With snow falling, brings cooking treats inside. I had some left over caramel an chocolate from dipping pretzels with the Relief Society a few weeks ago, so I decided that I needed to finish up and get the rest of it use. So I put myself to work one evening after work! It was a lot work to do by myself, but it was sure fun! 

 

Sage has been loving the snow. She always is sticking her nose in the snow and running around like crazy! Here is a fun little video of her. She loves to fetch too! 🐶 
 

She also is a cute little puppy with snow on her little nose!
Mikal just got hired on to plow snow for the winter months. He is pretty excited to be doing that for a change! I am just glad he now has a job! Lets just hope that it snows A LOT so he can work quite a bit of hours!

Month 7- Harvest time

Dean started off the month of October sleeping a lot better than the month of September. Instead of 2-3 hour stretches, we got 4-5! He has now started acknowledging his name when you say it.  Mikal bought Dean a cute little red ball cap. It is so cute on him! I also got to put him in his little hunting outfits. I love me some red buffalo plaid!     We met my cousin Carmen and her family at the Middleton Fall Festival. It was fun to take Wesley and enjoy so time outside of the house! Dean played in the corn pit and had a blast feeling the corn and picking it up- we also went again later in the month with Joseph, Melissa, Oliver & Jane. I spent lots of time making/picking grapes to juice. Dean was very impatient at times and other times very patient with me! Dean went on a couple tractor rides in the sprayer with Dad. Birth of Baby Dean

March 24th - Sunday night at 8 pm we headed into Madison Memorial Hospital to start the induction. I was still only dilated a fingertip. They put a small cervidil in me to soften my cervix. It was not comfortable and I was given half an ambien to help with the pain and sleep, but I was not able to sleep at all that night. I tossed and turned all night long and had to get up and go to the bathroom every hour. March 25th- Around 6 am, Monday March 25th, they got me a piece of toast and that was all I could eat until after the baby was born. They took out the cervidil and started me on Pitocin and broke my water. I was exhausted. I was still in pain, but not as bad after getting that cervidil out. Around 10:00 am, they came in a checked me and I was dilated 1 cm. They told me that he probably would not be born until Tuesday, March 26th. My heart dropped. I did not want to wait that long to have this little boy. They asked me if I wanted the epidural and I said not yet. I took the p...

Thankful--Grateful--Blessed🍗

This past couple weeks have been some crazy ones to take in. I have been working on tons of projects in the garage and building a lot for others. Here are a couple of my latest: Thanksgiving week was just around the corner, as was my birthday. On Tuesday we went out to eat at Red Robin so I could get my free burger like I get every year. That is all we did. Nothing special. I did get a phone call from my sister Kira calling to keep little Everett who is 5 months in our prayers. He was have some unusual bruising on his left eye. They had gone to a specialist and was told if it got worse to head to the hospital.  On Thanksgiving day, we went out to Mikal's parents house and had a big dinner.
