An Extraordinary Christmas Break--

Image
After 4 years of telling my Daddy I was going to make him a quilt of Grandpa Gibbons' old plaid shirts, I finally got it finished and quilted with salmon. I loved how it turned out! I am not great at sewing, but I at least can do something simple! It is safe to say, he loved the gift! My sister's Kira, Melissa and Brooke all helped pitch in to pay for the quilting costs which was very helpful! I created this Family Proclamation for my mom for Christmas.  Since Mikal got the job plowing snow, he was not able to go to Washington with me because it was supposed to snow in Idaho during Christmas. I was pretty bummed that he was not able to go with me, but thankful that I was able to go see my family for Christmas. It is always nice to be around family during the holidays. I hitched a ride with my cousin Kendall and Adam so if Mikal was able to come we wouldn't have 2 vehicles up in Washington. Sadly, he was not able to come up. It was a different Christmas that...

When snow falls

Snow has begun to fall a lot more in Rexburg now! ☃ With snow falling, brings cooking treats inside. I had some left over caramel an chocolate from dipping pretzels with the Relief Society a few weeks ago, so I decided that I needed to finish up and get the rest of it use. So I put myself to work one evening after work! It was a lot work to do by myself, but it was sure fun!    Sage has been loving the snow. She always is sticking her nose in the snow and running around like crazy! Here is a fun little video of her. She loves to fetch too! 🐶    She also is a cute little puppy with snow on her little nose! Mikal just got hired on to plow snow for the winter months. He is pretty excited to be doing that for a change! I am just glad he now has a job! Lets just hope that it snows A LOT so he can work quite a bit of hours!
