May- It's okay to take a break sometimes

May was definitely a relaxing month for me! I was able to work on some wood projects and Mikal helped me build this beautiful farmhouse corner shelf. I am in love with it! Mikal has been experimenting with different ways to age new wood and has tried a lot of different ways. He has found his favorite so far has been the black tea and a vinegar mix. I got to go back to Washington for a week and helped on the farm cutting our fire blight in the orchard and also helped out Kira and the boys while Peter was gone. I had a blast taking Wesley to the Kidz Dig Rigz. He loved being able to sit on all the tractors, ride in a monster truck, and his all time favorite- move the arm on the garbage truck! We got some shaved ice to cool off as well. 😍 It was pretty COLD! On Wednesday before Memorial Day weekend, I took off with Carter and we went back to Rexburg.
