October- 2 elk down and meat in the freezer

Image
Since Mikal and I both drew on a bull elk tag this year, we were both determined to shoot an elk. We drew on the area that Mikal did all his work for the fish and game. We got the earlier hunt that opened October 1st through the 14th. The 14th was when general season opened. Mikal went out the weekend before our hunt started and found a nice 6x6 bull just up above Sandcreek ponds. We went out looking on Monday (opening day for us) for that elk and did not see any elk that day. We saw some deer and moose. We jumped a moose at the very beginning of the day. It had me spooked all day. We went up over this small little hill and Mikal thought it was a mule deer. It was actually a cow moose. She was about 30 to 40 yards off. August was a very slow month, but September was busy! August: Not much happened in August, expect that Mikal did a lot of wood building projects for people. He was out in our garage pretty much all day, every day. I was glad for that! I wasn't able to go home to Washington for the fair this year, and so the small Rexburg rodeo is the only "country" action I got this summer. 🐎 Sage loves to cuddle with Mikal Mikal made this cedar chest for his little sister September: Labor Day weekend, my cousin Valerie got married in the Mount Timpanogas Temple and I was able to hang out with my mom! This was the first summer EVER that I was not able to go home to Washington one time. (that is 28 years guys!) We did a little bit of shopping, between the wedding and the reception, but mostly we just got to hang out with each other and just talk. It was nice. I LOVE my mom! We went for a drive Sunday afternoon up the Provo Canyon and did the Alpine loop and cam...

June 23th-- June has been one of the biggest months in our life. LOTS of changes are about to occur in the Terry family! We have decided that we are going to do  In Vitro Fertilization!  The beginning of May, we knew it was time to start something new. We called a fertility doctor in Logan (that our friend referred us to) and he asked us when we wanted to start the procedure and we told him as soon as possible. He said he was just finishing up a group of people and his next group would be doing the procedure the beginning of July. So that following week I started one of the many medications to get my body prepped for the procedure. My box of injections that was shipped to me. What I had to take daily for injections The doctor we have been working with is such a personable doctor. He checks in regularly, sends me texts, and makes sure I know exactly what is going on with my body. It is amazing that by giving your body medication, you can prepare it to carry a baby. ...
